Kanye booed for late Bonnarroo show
The rapper arrived on stage over an hour late for his headline performance at the festival, where he eventually played at 4.25am on Sunday.
Fans chanted "Kanye sucks" and threw glow sticks on the stage, according to the BBC.
West's delay was blamed on difficulties setting up the musician's complex glow-in-the-dark backdrop.
Other performances at the four-day event came from Pearl Jam, The Raconteurs and comedian Chris Rock.

Denise Richards to ex-husband Sheen: "be civil"
Richards, 37, divorced Sheen in 2006, and her break-up from the star of TV's "Two and Half Men," became instant fodder for celebrity magazines. She hopes to "set the record straight" about her life on her reality program, "Denise Richards: It's Complicated," on cable TV network E!.
"He loves to trash me in the press and discredit me and has tried to sabotage my (new) show. I can't change that, so I just keep living my life," said Richards. "I hope that now that he's married, he can move forward and be civil."
During their divorce, the press seized on Richards' claims of Sheen's domestic abuse, penchants for prostitutes and porn, made public in court documents. The actor's career weathered the storm and about two weeks ago, he married a third time.
Richards' career and reputation, however, have been overshadowed by what she sees as negative press, which included stories about her former romance with Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, ex-husband of her one-time friend Heather Locklear.
So in late May Richards, whose career blossomed in the 1990s on TV and in movies such as "Starship Troopers" and Bond flick "The World is Not Enough," joined a growing list of celebrities documenting their lives on reality TV.
"I've gotten sick of not saying anything for three years. I wanted it (the show) to be real. Hopefully people can better understand my honesty and that I'm relatable as a single mom," said Richards.

Passage to India
Lionsgate, Eros ink distribution pact
|
The companies will split profits 50/50 on the as-yet-unnamed venture, which will produce original films using both U.S. and Indian talent and remake properties from each company. Lionsgate will draw on Eros theatrical (which controls 40% of the Indian market), home entertainment, television and new media distribution channels for its catalog titles, and vice versa. Original and dubbed-language projects will be released.
Lionsgate co-chairman and CEO Jon Feltheimer said that the distribution deal will begin immediately, and new production plans will be launched in about three months. Eros chairman and CEO Kishore Lulla estimates it will start with about two-to-three soon-to-be-announced projects and eventually ramp up to 10-20 productions a year using English- and Indian-language talent in the vein of such films as "Bend it like Beckham" for crossover appeal. By the end of the year, at least one exec will be hired to work specifically for the venture.
Lionsgate also will acquire North American home entertainment distribution rights to 20 top features from Eros' library of 1,900 titles.
Feltheimer, who announced the deal with Lulla on Eros' Cannes yacht office boat, said the company will be open to service deals or additional partners in the arrangement, citing Lionsgate's recent formation of a new pay TV channel with Viacom's Paraount and MGM as one example of similar collaboration.
The execs met 12 years ago when Feltheimer was at Sony Pictures Entertainment and entered into a TV deal with Eros. Feltheimer said his main motivation for the new venture was the untapped potential of the market in India, the second-largest English speaking nation in the world.
Lionsgate has had some of its biggest hits with violent genre fare, many of which would be considered too extreme for Indian audiences. Feltheimer sidestepped the issue when asked about it, instead mentioning possible remake properties such as "Dirty Dancing" and "The Eye" as films suited to the partnership.

'Hottest MCs In The Game': Is A Huge Hit Enough To Get Soulja Boy On The List?
Two days, two names and two Atlanta natives.
The rollout of rankings in the 2008 "Hottest MCs in the Game" list continued Friday (May 15) with Andre 3000 being revealed as number 9. On Wednesday, number 10 turned out to be T.I. One of the big questions surrounding the final eight slots is about yet another ATL performer — the guy with the biggest hit of the last year, Soulja Boy Tell'em.
"Crank That" was a worldwide phenomenon, with just about everybody and their mother knowing both the song and its dance moves. CNN even reported on the track, which lays claim to being the highest-selling ringtone of all time with more than 3 million downloads. Soulja Boy Tell'em's debut LP, Souljaboytellem.com, went platinum, and he had hit follow-ups with "Soulja Girl" and "Yahhh!"
By all indications he should be a lock, right? No. Soulja Boy's detractors — both in and out of the music industry — have criticized him for lacking substance and appealing mostly to younger kids. But the 17-year-old feels that with all his accomplishments over the past year, he is not just ranking-worthy, but is the number-one guy right now.
"I'll wonder [if I don't make the list]," he told us a couple of weeks ago in Atlanta. "I won't be mad, because I don't get any money out of it or nothing. So I'll be sitting back like, 'What happened with that?' I would be like, 'Why?' I wouldn't be mad, I would just wonder. I'd look at y'all's list and be like, 'OK, let's just keep it moving if y'all missed all of that that came through.' That's basically it, though. Some other people would look at that list and wonder too, though. They would be like, 'What about Soulja Boy? Didn't he have the highest selling whatever, whatever?' But then they might look at it and be like, 'That's right. He ain't supposed to be there. He ain't got lyrics.' It all depends on how you look at things."
Mixtape King DJ Drama told us there's no question — the MTV News Hip-Hop Brain Trust should take a long look at the teenage superstar.
"Got to be a contender," Dram said. "The top 10 is so hard to just pick, but you've got to take Soulja Boy into consideration for something like that. Granted, he may not be [one of] the top 10 lyricists, but the top MCs? At the end of the day, there are a lot of people throughout history that have not been the lyrical giants that others are. Take Eazy-E and Ice Cube — there's a big difference. But when it comes down to it, you show Eazy-E respect. When it comes to somebody like Soulja Boy, his accomplishments, what he's done to the game ... On a scale of things, his music in general, you can't front Soulja Boy because he's not the best rapper out here. Somebody likes what he's doing. It might not necessarily be what I ride to, but best believe it's what I'm playing in the club.
"I'm on the album, so you know what I'm saying. I'm playing 'Shoot Out,' " he added. "I'm playing 'Donk.' And you know, if there's ladies involved, which it always is, it is a lovely thing."
Either way, Soulja Boy says he's already won.
"Soulja Boy Tell'em's the name," he declared in closing. "17 years old, rich and pursuing my dreams. I think I'm really lucky to be in this position, because it could have been anybody, and I love my life and I'm glad that I'm here. [I don't care] if there's people criticizing me, or people saying I'm wack, or people saying that they don't like my music, or I cant rap, or I'm a one-hit wonder, or whether I'm your favorite rapper, or if I'm the best rapper in the world. Whether I make the list, whether I don't make the list, I still accomplished my dream.
"I wouldn't have known about being on the list or being criticized as a one-hit wonder if I wouldn't have never gotten here in the first place," he reasoned. "I love it! I wouldn't change it for nothing in the world. Whether I do a million interviews, a million shows, or make a million dollars. At the end of the day I had a dream and it came true."
The 2008 version of "Hottest MCs in the Game" airs Friday, May 16, on MTV at 10 p.m. — and you can also hit MTVNews.com once the program is over to read more in-depth about the Brain Trust's choices.

Arrested Development movie planned?
Bateman told US TV show E! News that plans are underway for a movie version of the cancelled show.
Rumours of a big-screen adaptation of the cult show began to circulate last year after the actor was reported to have met with series creator Mitch Hurwitz.
Now Bateman, who currently stars in 'Juno', has confirmed the cast has received calls from executives asking if they would be interested in reviving their roles once the ongoing Hollywood writers strike is over.
He told E! News: "I can confirm that a round of sniffing has started. Any talk is targeting a post-strike situation, of course.
"I think, as always, that it's a question of whether the people with the money are willing to give our leader, Mitch Hurwitz, what he deserves for his participation. And I can speak for the cast when I say our fingers are crossed."
Springsteen collaborates on anti-war film
Billboard reports that 'Body of War: Songs That Inspired an Iraq War Veteran' will be released on 18 March on Sire Records.
All proceeds from the album will go to Iraq Veterans Against the War.
The documentary 'Body of War' tells the story of Tomas Young, a US Army soldier paralysed in Iraq.
The film will open on 13 March in Austin, Texas before opening across the US in subsequent months. European release dates have yet to be revealed.
Talk show veteran Phil Donahue co-directed the film with Ellen Spiro.
Young was the driving force behind the album, which features the single 'No More', composed specifically by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder for the film. Pearl Jam's live version of Bob Dylan's 'Masters of War' also features on the soundtrack.
Springsteen's track 'Devils & Dust' is on the album, as is Neil Young's 'The Restless Consumer'.
Other songs featured include 'Yo George' from Tori Amos, 'Son of a Bush' from Public Enemy and 'Bushonomics' from Talib Kweli and Cornel West.
Lost star eager to leave 'paradise'
Fellow actor Evangeline Lilly recently confessed that she did not enjoy working on the series' Oahu set because she is allergic to so many things there.
Now Fox has admitted he no longer likes living there while filming.
He said: "I've been living in Hawaii for three-and-a-half years now and it's not really paradise anymore. Throwing snowballs on a mountain top is now my idea of paradise. I enjoy getting off the island.
"It's a beautiful place and my kids are happy there and it's been a good place for us to be for the past three years... but it's not a place we're gonna stay after 'Lost' is finished."
However, Fox has admitted that the major benefit of being a Hawaiian resident is the fact that he is not bothered by paparazzi.
He added: "One thing that was beneficial in Hawaii was I didn't get the whole paparazzi thing in my daily life and photographs of my kids. If it happened it would be very rare."
"There's not a lot of paparazzi who want to do the 2,500 mile trek into the South Pacific to get a picture of me walking on the beach. I think if I was living in Los Angeles it would be more difficult for me."
